Michael Mastroianni is a musical theatre pianist, bassist & percussionist. He is a current student of Berklee College of Music, pursuing a degree in Contemporary Writing & Production. Originally from New Rochelle, Michael has been involved in over 140 musical productions in New York & Massachusetts, most frequently as music director, musician, and orchestrator. Recently, Michael made his debut at the American Repertory Theatre in Boston as keyboardist & conductor for the premiere production of Burn All Night, with book & lyrics by Andy Mientus (Les Miserables, Spring Awakening). Other recent musical credits include Heathers (keyboard/orchestrations), Shrek (music director/keyboard 1), Beauty and the Beast (keyboard 2/accordion/additional orchestrations) & Cabaret(accordion/orchestrations).
Michael is at his happiest working with young, passionate performers. He has worked at various schools in Westchester and NYC as music director, guest artist and choral accompanist. Michael has been a part of the Artistree family since the very beginning and is endlessly thankful to be a part of this wonderful group of creators, performers and artists.
