Charlie Stevens is an actor/singer in New York City. He graduated from Rollins College with a degree in Vocal Performance focusing on opera and music theatre. In addition to singing, he also plays piano and guitar. After graduation, he went on work at various theme parks including Disney World as a member of the Voices of Liberty. Favorite roles include Paul in The Witnesses, Smudge in Forever Plaid, El Gallo in The Fantasticks, and originating the role of Peter in The Last Adam. This past holiday season he had the opportunity to sing with a Gospel Quartet for A Swinging Christmas in Carnegie Hall with the larger group Essential Voices USA. That same group performed on NBC singing with Neil Diamond for the Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting and with The Muppets, Sesame Street and Fraggle Rock in Jim Henson’s Musical World. His most recent show was A New Musical: David at the Barter Theatre in Virginia where he played the role of Samuel. He is very happy to be one of a great family of teachers here at Artistree and thanks his lovely wife Lana for her continual support.
